The next Bullseye match is the .22 caliber 900 precision pistol match on Sunday, January 6. This is a 90-shot match that can be fired using any safe .22 caliber pistol or revolver, and can be completed in less than an hour and a half. You need not have a bullseye classification to shoot. Cost is $20, and you can sign up on line at njpistol.com . Relays start at 8 am, 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm, and 4 pm. On the day of the match, we can accept walk-in entries from club members, depending on range capacity and the availability of slots.
This bullseye match will be the first leg of the DSPC rimfire pistol championship for 2019. This three-part competition, for DSPC members only, consists of this bullseye match, one of our Friday-night silhouette matches ($2 charge), and a modified action/combat style match ($2 charge) – all in .22 caliber. Every club member who completes all three stages will be entered in a drawing for a Ruger .22/45 pistol (or cash equivalent). The better you shoot, the more chances you have in the drawing, but everyone will have a chance. You must complete the precision pistol match on January 6 to continue the competition. Once we see how many club members complete that, we will schedule and provide more info on the latter two parts.
